My Toile

On Wednesday I started patterning for my Toile for my final garment, I am very excited as I have designed this dress and i cant wait to see it all come together.

My design is a very classic 50's dress it is very full with lots of volume with panels going down. One of these panels is going to have flowers made out of felt going down it. The reason I have chosen flowers is because my target market is for occasion wear and when I think of occasions like a wedding a think of flowers and romance.

 Here is the start of my patterns:

Side front and centre front panel.

Back and back side panel.

Moving the dart.
