Illustration brief.Minjae Lee!

Over the past week I have been looking into all different types of Illustrators/Artists for a presentation we have to present on Thursday.We have to choose one Illustrator/Artist that we like the work off and talk about them.We have to talk about why we have chosen this person,about there work,what we like about them,their characteristics and their personal lives.
 My chosen artist is called Minjae Lee he is a Korean artist who taught himself to draw.He is only 24 years old but his drawings are very unique,powerful and emotional.He also likes to draw women because he see's them as powerful people,he also like's women's features and looks.
His drawings are very personal to him and really release his emotions and  what he is feeling inside , he says he wants to show these emotions to viewers because they can relate to the public.He also uses lots of colour on his work which makes his pieces look dramatic.The media he uses is for "old school" he loves using felt tips,markers,crayons and acrylics.The reason why i am so drawn to his work is because of the composition and the layering that he does also all the bright,bold colours he uses.His work gives of an aggressive blend of beauty vibe.
